Thanks for getting curious about Kindness! Here’s a FAQ of a few of the most common questions we hear from our new members. If there’s anything we haven’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to ask. Hope to see you in the studios soon!

What is Kindness Yoga Membership?

Kindness Yoga Members are students dedicated to the mission of Kindness and the practice of yoga. They have invested in their wellness and made our studios a regular and important part of their lives. Their commitment helps them achieve great things - on their mats and out in the world! 

Logistically, becoming a Member is one way to pay for classes at Kindness Yoga. When you purchase a Membership, we automatically charge your credit card a fixed rate every month. You receive unlimited access to Kindness Yoga classes across all locations and other fun perks! Students who purchase one year of unlimited yoga also receive all the benefits of Membership.

What are the benefits of Membership?

The central benefit of Membership is access to unlimited classes at all Kindness Yoga studios. The more you come to class, the cheaper each class becomes! Members also receive: 

  • 20% off most workshops and events 
  • Free admission to select special events (like our popular Soundscape series) 
  • 20% off acupuncture treatments at our clinics
  • 10% off most merchandise 
These benefits are subject to change over time. We are always looking for new ways to thank our Members for their ongoing support!

Is there a minimum commitment?

Your minimum commitment is just two months. However, please note that we require 30 days’ notice to cancel a Membership. So should you decide to discontinue your Membership, you must let us know in advance. You can do this at any of our locations or by reaching out to support@kindnesscollective.com.

How much does Membership cost?

Once you purchase a Membership, congratulations! You’ve locked in your monthly rate. As long as you don’t cancel, you’ll be able to keep paying the same rate as the price of a new Membership rises over time.

How can I change my credit card information?

If you need to change your card on file for any reason, you can sign into your MindBody Online account here and update the Information section.

Do you offer any discounts on Membership?

We offer discounted Membership rates to students, elders (ages 65+), teachers, firefighters, police officers, and veterans. To receive a discounted Membership, please sign up in person at one of our locations or email support@kindnesscollective.com. Don’t forget to bring your valid ID!

Can I temporarily suspend my Membership without canceling?

Yes! To suspend your Membership, please reach out to us at support@kindnesscollective.com. Note that we can only suspend Memberships at the end of a billing cycle and all suspensions must have a reactivation date. 

Example: It’s February 14th. Hanuman wants to suspend his Membership while he takes a work trip to Sri Lanka. His account is normally billed on the 26th of each month. We can suspend his Membership starting on February 25th for as long as he wants, but he must tell us when his Membership will resume. He tells us he’ll be back on March 3rd. If his flight is delayed, we will still resume his Membership on March 3rd unless he emails us and gives us a new reactivation date.
