It's hard to choose what's more exciting - watching our Teacher Trainees work hard and flourish in their 200-hour programs, or seeing what they do after their training has ended. If you've ever wondered what you can do with a fresh 200-hour Teaching Certification, look no further - we're excited to bring you stories straight from the hearts of our graduates!

This month, we'd like to introduce you to Kelsey and Sam. They became thick as thieves at the end of their 4-week intensive training, and joined forces shortly after to build the business just b. just b. brings yoga onsite to businesses around Denver, and their classes generally focus on those spots that anyone who works at a desk or on a computer craves: hips, upper and lower back, and posture! We were floored by the shining testimonials their clients wrote. Whether you feel like you need to book yoga for you and your co-workers stat,  or simply want to be inspired like we are, you can learn more about just b. here.

How did the Kindness YTT equip you with the tools to set up your business?

The greatest tool Kindness gave us was each other! While we'd like to say we became fast friends, it wasn't until the final days of the intensive that Breath Balance Business began to take shape.  We shared a passion for bringing yoga into the corporate workspace because of our own individual work histories - for us, yoga was a welcomed escape from the stress and long hours. In addition to preparing us to teach all levels of yoga, the lead instructors made themselves available to us even after the training for continued guidance on insurance, marketing, taxes, etc.

Is there anything you wish you had known prior to the training?

No matter how much you try to prepare for YTT, you will get something out of it you never expected. It made us reevaluate how we wanted to be spending our 40-hour weeks. We wanted to approach our time with more intention, something we resolved by making yoga a part of our full-time jobs.

Do you have any advice for people who are considering signing up for a YTT?

Take the plunge! Do whatever it takes to make it possible - we promise it will be worth the time and financial commitment. The experience doesn't just end with the training, it's something you'll carry with you for the rest of your life.
