Dear Yoga Mat-ers,

We are really, really excited for you to join the Kindness family when the Yoga Mat becomes Kindness RiNo on October 1. We know that change can come with questions, hiccups, and concerns, so we're hoping to address those to make your transition to a Kindness yogi as smooth as possible. Please refer to this post any time you might have a question on what the move to Kindness RiNo means for you!

  1. Your Membership and any class packages will stay the same: Whether you are a Yoga Mat Autopay member or have purchased any class package, have no fear: your membership and packages are still valid. Members, your monthly rate will remain the same and will continue to charge on the same day of each month. Class package owners, your packages remain valid and do not expire.
  2. The Class Schedule is moving: All schedules will move from ontheyogamat.com to kindnesscollective.com.
  3. Online sign-ups are changing: All classes at Kindness are first-come, first served. There is no option to sign up in advance, and the only way to guarantee your spot is to show up early. Don't stress - most classes do not fill to capacity, so you'll be able to get your practice in!
  4. The schedule is changing (kind of): On October 1, the Yoga Mat schedule remains the same as it is now. On October 16, your favorite Yoga Mat schedule and teachers will remain in their current slots, AND more class times will be added throughout the day for a more robust daily schedule.
  5. All Kindness classes are donation-based: Our membership and class rates reflect the cost of running a business in Denver - and at the same time, Kindness Yoga is a company driven by the desire to make yoga accessible. All regularly-scheduled classes have the option of a donation-based drop in, because we want you to practice no matter your financial situation! Learn more about our donation-based drop in here.
  6. Class names are new: Even though the class styles and levels will stay the same, class names will change. Consider this your glossary for identifying what to look for on the schedule in lieu of the Yoga Mat class names:
All-Levels Flow: Flow classes, whether an "All-Levels," "Not-So-Rushed Hour," or "Takin' a Breather" will turn into "Vinyasa" or "Steady Vinyasa"
Flow & Restore: These classes will be similar on the new schedule and easily identifiable, under "Align & Restore" or "Flow & Restore"
Hatha: When looking for your favorite "Hatha" class, look for "Align & Flow"
All-Levels Yin: This class will become "Yin" on the new schedule

One of our rockstar managers who has managed our Cherry Creek, Golden, and Platte Street locations in the past, Haley Wilcox, will be your interim studio manager! She's super-sweet and plans to attend The Yoga Mat send-off party at Ratio Beerworks to meet with you, create friendships, and answer any questions you might have.

If we need any further information from you to ensure a smooth transition, we will reach out! We can't wait to practice with you soon!
