Alyssa Gunn

Alyssa Gunn, RYT-200

Alyssa found yoga several years ago and instantly fell in love with the practice. She feels blessed to have learened from some of Denver's finest teachers. Through yoga, Alyssa found herself, found her path and learned what devotion truly means. Alyssa completed her teacher training at Karma Yoga Center in the fall of 2010 and completed a second 200-hour training with Saul David Raye in 2016. After which, she studied prenatal yoga leading her to become a doula. These trainings were life-changing experiences that helped Alyssa discover how we all truly connect. Alyssa also teaches yoga nidra, a meditative practice that helps one heal through relaxation. Teaching nidra has guided Alyssa to extensively study shock and trauma in the yogic context. She also teaches a slow vinyasa flow class combining deep breath and longer holds. Alyssa was fortunate enough to discover her potential and true self on her mat and hopes that she can inspire others along their path.
