About Alex and Britt

“These two magically complement one another! What Alex brings in the anatomical body, Britt weaves in the subtle elements of the body. The space they hold for a community is so spacious and grounded. It is powerful to sit in a room full of people these two bring together. Gentle, playful, down-to-earth, inquisitive, well-rounded, and well-informed.”

-Katie, 200-hour Teacher Training Graduate

About Your Instructors

Alex Lee-Ammons

Alex Lee-Ammons, ERYT-200, RYT-500

Alex’s superpower as a teacher trainer is the ability to communicate anatomy and biomechanics as they apply to the practice of asana (poses). When you study with Alex, you’ll hone a deep understanding of your personal alignment and gain biomechanical fluency so you can effectively teach that fluency to others. Teacher training - and the community it revolves around - is Alex’s favorite way to go deeper and deeper into the practice of Yoga.

Brittany Kassel

Brittany Kassel, ERYT-200, RYT-500

Britt teaches Slow Flow Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga with an emphasis on meditation to cultivate a clear and inspired mind. Her vinyasa classes promise a balance of steady flow, alignment principles, and breath regulation to strengthen the body and center the mind. Britt's restorative classes call on pranayama and mantra to stimulate the body's inherent intelligence towards relaxation and healing. Britt believes practice, meditation, and stillness help to clarify what matters most to us as individuals, which in turn creates the opportunity for greater contribution both to oneself and one's communities. Britt began practicing in 2009. She completed her first training in May 2014 studying with Beth Sanchez, Jeremy Wolf, Saraphena Mesmer, and Cheryl Deer; the second in January 2016, alongside Buffy Barfoot. Her love of working with kids as well as her background in K-12 education inspired her to complete Radiant Beginning's Childrens Yoga Teacher Training in October of 2014.
