This 100-hour intensive is a thorough study of self through the lens of yogic traditions, philosophy, and inner practices. This course is designed to bring greater alignment between your yoga practice and daily life! Each week, we'll explore an aspect of yoga philosophy while immersing in alignment-based asana (posture) practices. Get ready to watch your physical and inner practices transform, your heart open, and your understanding of how yoga applies to your life deepen. Some topics we'll cover include:

  • Tantric yoga traditions
  • The Bhagavad Gita
  • The Gunas
  • The Koshas
  • Vulnerability and shame resilience
  • A home meditation practice
This course is for individuals who want the depth of a yoga teacher training without practice teaching skills. It is designed for anyone craving a community and heart-centered learning environment that will inspire their life and physical practice.

This course is eligible for 100 CEU hours through Yoga Alliance, OR can be paired with the Align & Flow Teaching Intensive for a complete 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Yoga Alliance.

Dates: October 5 - December 6 (Off 10/27-11/5 & 11/24-12/3)
Schedule: Mon and Wed, 5-8 pm, Sat 10 am-7 pm

About Your Instructors


Alex Lee-Ammons

Alex Lee-Ammons, ERYT-200, RYT-500

Alex leads her students towards stronger bodies and softer hearts through clear and deep cues, intelligent sequencing, and a focus on actions and drills that will have you lighting up hard-to-fire muscles. Expect strong, detailed holds, deep melts, and more overall strength and suppleness in your body. Alex guides her students towards the feeling of being at home and believes the practice of yoga reminds us of the heart and Wholeness in each of us.


Brittany Kassel

Brittany Kassel, ERYT-200, RYT-500

Britt teaches Slow Flow Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga with an emphasis on meditation to cultivate a clear and inspired mind. Her vinyasa classes promise a balance of steady flow, alignment principles, and breath regulation to strengthen the body and center the mind. Britt's restorative classes call on pranayama and mantra to stimulate the body's inherent intelligence towards relaxation and healing. Britt believes practice, meditation, and stillness help to clarify what matters most to us as individuals, which in turn creates the opportunity for greater contribution both to oneself and one's communities. Britt began practicing in 2009. She completed her first training in May 2014 studying with Beth Sanchez, Jeremy Wolf, Saraphena Mesmer, and Cheryl Deer; the second in January 2016, alongside Buffy Barfoot. Her love of working with kids as well as her background in K-12 education inspired her to complete Radiant Beginning's Childrens Yoga Teacher Training in October of 2014.
